Am I missing something? I can't find any forum on News and/or Politics.

I live in the United States, where history is taking place with the nomination of Barack Obama as the Democratic Presidential Candidate.

I would love to hear comments from people in other countries about their reactions and what it means world wide.

I'd also love to hear about politics in other countries. What is going on where you live?

(And I hope that any such discussions can be done in a friendly way)

We didn't initially create forums on politics or religion given that those are some of the tricky subjects when chatting with people from different countries. We could do politics... I guess a lot of people around the world have opinions on the US elections, for example. And there's beena lot going on in Pakistan politics lately and I guess a lot of people would like to get a local view on it.

I also hope any such discussions can be done in a friendly way...
